Personal storyboard project based on the audio play "Parting Ways" - a prequel to the Kingsglaive movie and the Final Fantasy 15 main game. Curious to see what this audio play would look like as a live action film and how it would fit into the FF 15 collection of content. I created my own camera shot list based off the script, composed each frame, then drew a few iterations and rough sketches. What you see are the final boards with character + camera action plus lighting, with camera notes under each frame.

- This first scene takes place in Noctis' apartment during the morning, where he's woken up by his "brother"/best friend Ignis to see his father, King Regis (the day before the big roadtrip).
- Used a lot of CUs and ECUs (close-ups and extreme close-ups) to make this scene more intimate as we are in an intimate personal space- Noctis's room and slowly reveal the main character through his room/possessions, poses/actions without doing a full-face reveal
- Varied camera shots but not much camera movement to slowly introduce Noctis
- Used high angle shots for ominous tone
- Researched the IP and self-acted to understand each character
- Included a few easter eggs - see if you can spot them :)
